Royal College of Music, Museum , SW7 2BS , [Venue Details]

Celebrate Pride month with this open, welcoming singaround session of tunes, songs and stories.

Monday,
29 Jun 2026
@6.00pm

A singaround is a folk singing session where everyone sits in a circle and takes turns to share a song, a tune or a poem – no one is obligated to sing, but everyone is always entitled to a turn. Bring a song, sing along or just listen, with instruments always welcome: the emphasis in a singaround is communal singing, so don’t be disconcerted if you start singing and people join in!

Sophie Crawford, co-founder of Queer Folk will lead the session and introduce some queer folk songs from the archive.

‎ ‎Queer Folk was founded by Sophie Crawford and George Sansome and now encompasses a network of many more musicians, dancers, songwriters, music fans, and likeminded LGBTQIA+ people.
